Arabic food is the main type of food in Dubai.
Kabsa, Hoummus, Ghuzi, Wara enab, Tabbouleh, Koussa mahshi, Haries, Matchbous, Shawarma, Falafel and the Arabic Bread are some of the items that should be missed out if you want to enjoy food in Dubai.
Now the main Arabic dish that we Arab likes is Kabsah
Kabsa is a family of rice dishes that are served mostly in Saudi Arabia — where it is commonly regarded as a national dish — and the other Arab states of the Gulf. Because Kabsa is really delicious, it became famous dish in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Egypt. Kabsa, though, is believed to be indigenous to Yemen. In places like Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Kuwait the dish is popularly known as machbūs, but is served mostly in the same way.
I love Kebsa a lot but not with Raisins and Almonds in the top of it but i like it to be clear
Shawarma is the most available food item on almost all streets (and cheap!) in Dubai. It is the Arabic equivalent of the Burger (It is mainly a Lebanese Sandwich0 . It is meat that has been cooked on a skewer and then cut into thin strips and placed into a kuhbus (pita) bread with vegetables and dressing.
Another local snacks is Fala-Fil - Falafel is the Arabic French fry. It looks like a cutlet. They are made out of mixing chickpeas and different spices. Then deep-fry and served as a side dish.
